Chatham's location on the elbow of Cape Cod is ideal. It is only 90 miles from Boston or Providence and can be reached in forty minutes from the Cape Cod Canal. It is surrounded by nearly 70 miles of shoreline, from where the Nantucket Sound flows into the Atlantic. You'll find visits to other Cape Cod communities and attractions, such as Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Provincetown, and the National Seashore, are easy day trips from Chatham's central location on Cape Cod.
